Archiving should never mean losing access to your own studies
One question we hear often from centres considering teleradiology for the first time: "once we send a study, is it still ours?" It's a fair question — a lot of outsourced reporting arrangements make retrieving your own historical studies more difficult than it should be.
Archiving, not lock-in
We provide patient archiving as a facility for your centre — not as a way to hold your data hostage. Every study you send through Cloud Teleradiology Services stays retrievable by you, on your own schedule, without needing to raise a request and wait on someone else's queue.
Re-using a prior study is a real workflow, not an edge case
A patient returning for a follow-up scan is routine, not exceptional — and comparing against their prior study is often the whole point of the follow-up. That means retrieval needs to be fast enough to actually fit into that workflow:
- Pull up any archived case yourself, whenever you need it
- Transfer a patient's prior studies straight back to your own MRI or CT console for re-use
- No dependency on us to hand a study back before you can act on it
Minimum turnaround, without giving up control
Fast reporting and full control over your own archive aren't a trade-off in how we've built this — a centre gets both by default. If you're evaluating a teleradiology arrangement, that's worth putting on the checklist explicitly, since it's exactly the kind of thing that only becomes visible months in, once you actually need a study back in a hurry.
Details on turnaround times and per-study pricing are on the Cloud Teleradiology Services page.
