Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Micromed Healthcare & Information Solutions (MHIS) ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information through the CloudRadiology website and platform. It applies both to visitors of this website and to diagnostic centres, radiologists, and their patients whose data is processed through the CloudRadiology platform.
1. What we collect
From this website: when you fill in the contact form or request a demo, we collect your name, email, phone number, and any message or centre details you provide. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising purposes on this site.
Through the CloudRadiology platform: on behalf of the diagnostic centres that use CloudRadiology, the platform processes patient demographic information, DICOM study images, and radiology reports. This data belongs to and is controlled by the diagnostic centre — CloudRadiology processes it as a service provider, not as the data owner.
2. How we use it
- Website contact/demo requests are used only to respond to your enquiry and, if you agree, to follow up about the product.
- Platform data (studies, reports, patient records) is used solely to provide the worklist, viewing, and reporting service to the diagnostic centre that submitted it, and is not used for any other purpose without that centre's authorisation.
- We do not sell personal data or patient data to third parties, under any circumstances.
3. Where data is stored
Platform data, including patient studies and reports, is stored on infrastructure located in India.
4. Data retention
Patient study and report data is retained according to the retention settings and legal obligations of the diagnostic centre that owns the data. Website enquiry data (contact form submissions) is retained only as long as needed to respond to and follow up on the enquiry.
5. Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and applicable data protection law, you may have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of personal data we hold about you. For platform data relating to a specific patient, that request should generally go through the diagnostic centre that holds the record, since they are the data controller; we can assist them in fulfilling it.
6. Security
We apply role-based access controls, encrypted data transit, and audit logging across the platform. No system is perfectly secure, and we treat security as an ongoing responsibility rather than a one-time checkbox.
